Zoo By Moonlight is an evening event held at Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary every full moon from May through September. It provides a great opportunity to see the Sanctuary's nocturnal residents out and about; something you might not see when you visit during the day. To walk the park by moonlight and hear the howling of the different animals - it really is a very unique experience; it makes you feel like you're out in nature with these animals!

Many of our animals are quite fun to visit with in this setting, but if you haven't yet seen our Clouded Leopards, this is an excellent event to change that. It's so neat to see them out acting curious and playful. If there was no other reason to attend "Zoo by Moonlight" than to see these two playing and jumping around, that would be enough.

Docents will also be available to help locate animals and answer questions. Cost of attendance is only $5 for Members and $8 for Non-Members.
